Help & Advice

West Suffolk College students

When you enrol on a course at the College you will be entitled to use the Library. In order to borrow resources or use the computers you will need to have your College card with you.
You will be given a College card shortly after starting your course and be entitled to use the electronic resources of the College via your student number shown on the card. You are entitled to borrow between 4 and 6 items (depending on the course you are studying).

UEA students

New HE students will be issued with a WSC card which will be used in this Library. Returning students will continue to use their APU card from previous years for this Library.

If you want to join UEA Library in order to borrow their physical resources (eg books), you will need to apply for a UEA Campus card via this Library by filling in a form and supplying a passport sized photo.  All HE students will automatically be supplied with a separate login to UEA's electronic resources which you can pick up from this Library.  We will show you how to use these resources either individually or as a class.

Staff

Staff can use the College Library with their Staff badge that has a barcode on it.

Any Staff teaching on the HE programme at West Suffolk College can also apply for a Campus card to use UEA Library and for a login to UEA electronic Library resources.  You will need to fill in the relevant forms from this Library and supply a passport sized photo if applying for a Campus card.
